Thirty 10 year olds + 2 teachers + The Kansas City Symphony = one great experience
Today we ventured into the streets of downtown Kansas City to experience the Symphony. What a "cultured" experience for 10 year olds. I must admit that sitting there listening to the beautiful music wasn't as relaxing as I'd anticipated. A few of my fourth grade friends struggled to actually sit still for 40 minutes during the concert. Somehow being "in charge" of that many and making sure their manners were somewhat in tact was less than relaxing...no matter what the surrounding. Our time away from school offered us a reprieve from story elements and inferencing for which we were all thankful!
I can just imagine you in a symphony with a bunch of 10 year olds!! Haha! Only you can do it because everyone else would find a babysitter! :)
