Well, there's a first time for everything...and here goes! I've told myself for a long time now that I don't have time for this blogging stuff and yet here I sit typing, erasing, retyping, searching and typing some more...looking for that "perfect" word or background. So I'm throwing caution to the wind and remembering the REAL reason why I even followed through with the prodding of a faithful friend to join the "blogging bandwagon".
The purpose you ask? The purpose is to keep friends and family (basically those who aren't on facebook) updated on the adventures of my life. Some of you may be surprised to learn that I will be joining a relief team from my church and heading to Haiti March 18-26. The trip falls during my Spring Break (Perk #1 of being a teacher and having random breaks in the middle of the year) Stay tuned for further details regarding my trip and a more detailed list of what we will be doing in Les Cayes.
