Haiti Relief Update (2/7/2010)

Tonight was real tough. Pierre (one of the orhpans) has had a terrible night. He kept screaming in pain. His stomach. Now his leg (he has a broken femur). Now his other leg. With the help of some terrific Haitian nurses, Pierre calmed for awhile.
Then the real problem surfaced… For 30 minutes straight, Pierre beat his mattress and screamed for his mommy.
What do you do?
The love of Christ is a constant, deep, persevering love. That’s what Pierre needs. From us. And, by the grace of God, that’s what we’ll give.
