Saturday morning....

What is it about Saturday mornings that I am so in love with??? It's just another day on the calendar right? Perhaps it's the permission I give myself to sleep as late as I can, without the rude interuption of my alarm. Or better yet, it's the notion that I can lay in my bed, snuggled up under my blankets and think about life's problems and the events of the day and realize I don't have to do anything that day if I don't want to...Or perhaps it's the idea that I can slowly sip and savor a cup of fresh brewed coffee out of a glass mug. See, during the week there simply isn't enough "time" to slowly savor my coffee so it's put into a travel mug and away I go. A glass mug represents a leisure, relaxing morning....and this often is the motivating factor behind getting me to crawl out from my blankets. Today is no different. After 3 weeks of school...I am weary. My body is exhausted and I need rest! And there is nothing better than starting my 3 day weekend with a fresh cup of brewed coffee and a leisure morning. Ahhhhh....Drink it in!
