Last Saturday was the Global Orphan Project's "BIG EVENT". The entire evening was a walk down memory lane as I remembered my thoughts and feelings from Haiti and all God showed me there.
What’s In a Uniform?
The answer depends on perspective.
If you’re an orphan on your own, or a child on the brink in a family crushed by poverty, a school uniform represents a lot. Impossibility. Never. Them. Not me. “I belong on the outside looking in.”
If you’re a child given a shot at school, slipping on a uniform to go to school means everything. Possibility. Opportunity. Dignity. “Me?” “Really, me?!!!”
And for all of us involved with The Global Orphan Project: a uniform is a God-provided opportunity to make a little go a long, long way. The little is actually quite big.
