A friend recently sent me an inspirational excerpt from a book she's reading...and I can't stop thinking about it. There's something serenly true about it. It resonates with me. Tenderness with which my words are spoken..., faces of students fade in and out...Walking through the world in a tender, loving way... I rush through my day so often that I don't portray this and rarely expect to encounter it from others. There's something quiet and still about communicating this way...
"Communication does not always depend on words alone but on the tenderness with which they are spoken. Walking through the world in a tender, loving way is a form of communication that goes beyond words to our deepest feelings."
Excellent thought for the day...now to remember it while the kids are yelling and bickering!
