Heavy Heart

I recently saw a slideshow on one of the major news agency's websites that documented the Egyptian demonstrations in Cairo. The images were chilling. Their faces illumined with purpose & determination. Willing to stop at nothing in order to procure freedom. I've been educating myself on the history of Egypt and the plight of it's people. The years of oppression by money hungry leaders while the people continue to struggle with the effects of poverty. I confess I have not prayed for these people nor have I really cared. I've become so wrapped up in my own little world that I forgot to pray. It's disgusting really... But today marks change. Webster defines CHANGE as "To make a radical difference". I believe my prayers will make a radical difference. Will you join me?

Joel Rosenburg posted this on his blog on Friday: "Please keep praying for Egypt’s 80 million people — for freedom, for safety, for courage, and for the gospel to be spread to an entire nation desperately needing God’s love and plan for their lives."

I can't wait to see how my prayers are answered!
